    • IDENTITY: Second Lord Lindores, was undoubtedly created a Peer under the title of Lord Lindores by charter 31 March 1600, which erected the abbacy of Lindores into a temporal lordship with the title, rank, and vote of a Lord of Parliament. He was served heir to his uncle Andrew Leslie of Lumbenny 19 April 1609. He died unmarried.
